FAQ
Before the bins go out.
Quick answers about local sources, schedule coverage, holiday changes, and how your address is handled.
Is TrashDayNow a city service?
No. TrashDayNow is an independent lookup tool that uses local information and links you to the source used for your result.
Why can’t you find every address?
Local agencies publish schedules in different formats. Some support address-level lookups; others provide only general guidance, so coverage varies by location.
What about holiday changes?
Holiday service can change at short notice. We show a change only when the linked local source publishes it, and recommend confirming the source before setting your bins out. Each city’s published holiday rule, with its source, is in the holiday rules table.
Is trash pickup today or tomorrow?
Enter the complete address to see the regular weekday for each available service. Compare that day with today or tomorrow, then check the linked local source for any holiday, weather, or service alert. TrashDayNow does not assume a delay when none is published.
Do you save my address?
We don’t create an account. Your address is kept in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes and sent to our address-lookup provider (Esri) and the connected schedule provider only to complete your lookup. We also keep a service log of each lookup — the address, the result shown, and the time — so we can fix wrong or missing answers and choose which cities to cover next; log entries are deleted after 180 days and never include your IP address. If you choose to send schedule feedback, we keep a privacy-protected record so we can compare reports and prevent duplicates. Feedback records are removed after 180 days, and a feedback cookie can remain in this browser for up to one year.
01 About
A clearer way to find curb days.
TrashDayNow is an independent lookup tool—not a city service or waste hauler. We make local collection schedules easier to find and keep the supporting source close.

Check an address03 Methodology
The source stays with the answer.
Available schedules come from local collection sources. Each result links to the source used. If an address-specific pickup day cannot be verified, we say so instead of guessing.
Resident-informed updates are reviewed separately and clearly labeled when they appear.
